Regular commission
officers of combat and battle support arms and services are eligible to enrol
in the Pakistan Army PMA Long Course. The PMA Long Course 150 is a two-year
programme. The course is further broken into four six-month sessions.
PMA LONG COURSE
- The Pakistan Army has posted an advertising for the 150th PMA Long Course on its official website.
- Candidates who are interested in joining the Pakistan Army and serving their nation with honour are encouraged to enrol in the Pak Army 150 PMA Long Course.
- Every patriot's desire is to join the Pakistan Army as an officer and serve their homeland. The Pakistan Army is regarded as one of the world's best-armed forces.
- Intermediate or comparable (Relaxation for three months, age 17-22).
- Graduates from four-year programmes (Age: 17-24 Years No Relaxation).
- Graduation programme (BS/BA/(HON)/BBA BPA), graduates (2 years), and serving PN/PAF personnel (Relaxation for 17-23 year olds for three months).
- Service Requirements for Army Soldiers (Age: 17-25 Years No Relaxation)
Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Army
To join the Pak Army 150 PMA Long Course, you must meet the following requirements:
- PMA Long Course is open to Pakistani citizens and residents of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Only men are eligible to apply.
- Height and weight must be in the range of 5'-4′′ (162.5 cm) and BMI.
- Candidates with a minimum of 55 percent in Intermediate (FA/FSC) or equivalent Graduates with 60 percent or higher, with 50 percent FA/FSc, are eligible to apply.
- Serving Army Soldiers are also eligible to apply provided they have completed FA/FSC or an equivalent course with a minimum of 50%.
- Mentally and physically fit is required of the candidate.
- The applicant must be in good health.
Required Documents
- Matric/FA/FSc/Equivalent Certificates/Marks Sheets
- If the applicant is 18 years old or older, he or she will be issued a computerised national identity card. If the applicant is under the age of 18, a computerised Form B must be submitted together with a computerised ID card from a parent or guardian.
- One set of verified copies of the above-mentioned papers
- 3 passport-sized colour photographs (front and back) certified by the Principal/Class-1 Gazetted Officer
- "Repeater Candidates" will additionally require one original and one photocopy of letters from Inter Services Selection Boards stating "NOT RECOMMENDED" (ISSBs).
Registration Process
- The registration process consists of two phases. Register online or visit an Army Selection and Recruitment Centre near you (AS&RCs).
- They will notify you of the next admission exam schedule, which will take place at your chosen ASRC, once you have finished the registration procedure.

NOTE
- If a TCC applicant applies to the PMA long course and has completed the ISSB, they are considered repeaters regardless of the outcome.
- Repeaters must go to Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) for preliminary tests between May 18 and May 27, 2022.
