Welcome to the Renmin University| CSC Scholarships

Applications for the Renmin University CSC Scholarships 2022 are now being accepted. All overseas students from all over the world are eligible to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) 2022. Applicants who want to pursue a Master's or Ph.D. degree are encouraged to apply. This scholarship does not require IELTS. Fully Funded Scholarships will be offered for the academic years 2022-2023.

• Renmin University offers postgraduate degrees in almost every academic discipline and major. The scholarship will cover all costs associated with studying in China. A Master's degree normally takes 2-3 years to complete, and a PhD takes 4 years. 

Documents needed

The following documents are required to apply for a CSC Scholarship:

• (Chinese or English) The Chinese Government Scholarships application form. Please visit https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/ to after submitting your application.

• Valid passport photocopy

• The original, notarized copy of the highest degree obtained. Applicants who have not yet received their degree or diploma must provide a pre-graduation certificate or other appropriate documentation. Authentication or notarization is required for languages other than Chinese and English.
• An official transcript of your finest academic achievement. Any language other than Chinese or English requires a notarized or verified translation.
• Please submit a research proposal or a study plan (no fewer than 800 words in Chinese or English).
• Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from associate professors or professors.
• Musical works must be submitted by applicants for music majors. Applicants must submit their applications on a CD.

Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for Chinese Government Scholarships:

1. Any non-Chinese national is eligible to apply.
2. (You must be in good physical and mental health to participate.)
3. Applicants who are currently enrolled in Chinese universities are not eligible to apply.
4. You must hold a Bachelor's Degree and be under the age of 35 to apply for a Master's Degree.
5. Applicants pursuing a PhD degree must hold a Master's degree and be under 40 years old.

Application Deadline:

The deadline for international students to apply for Renmin University International Scholarships 2022 is April 30, 2022.

How to Apply for Renmin University CSC Scholarships?

• You need to follow the following steps to apply for Renmin University CSC Scholarships 2022 in China:

1. The applicant must also log on to China Scholarship Council to complete the application and print out the application form. Please select Scholarship Type ‘B’ and Agency Number ‘10002’.
2. Applicants can then apply directly to the university for the Chinese University Program
3. The applicant must submit all the required documents to the university.
