1. Applications Criteria

On plain paper with attested copies of testimonials, experience certificate with specific dates, and transcripts, applications are invited from eligible/suitable candidates for the position of Research Associate on a purely contract basis under Research Project No. PSF/CRP/TH/4/CFP/430 sponsored by Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad. The selected applicants will be paid at a set rate of Rs. 15,000/- per month, unless they are enrolled in an M.Phil programme, in which case they would be paid at a fixed rate of Rs. 20,000 per month. However, he/she will be required to sign a bond in the Department of Food Sciences, CUVAS, Bahawalpur, for the length of the project, with the following qualifications and terms and conditions:

Qualification Required:

Candidates must have a degree in Biological/Life Sciences, Agriculture, and Food Science, or an equivalent degree, earned after 16 years of education in the relevant field with at least two first divisions (one in BS/B.Sc (Hons.) and no third divisions in their academic career from a HEC recognised university or institution. Priority will be given to those with post-BS/B.Sc (Hons.) research experience in the nanotechnology sector. Applications that are incomplete or sent after the deadline will not be considered.

b. The project's Principal Investigator will have the authority to terminate the appointment of a selected candidate at any time throughout the project's duration if the Research Associate's performance is unsatisfactory.

c. During the duration of the project, the selected individual should not be involved in any other project or work.

d. Completed applications should be mailed to the following address by 12-05-2022 during regular business hours.

e. Before the Selection Committee, the eligible/short-listed candidates will be summoned for an interview.

f. No TA/DA is admissible.
